Turn a quote into an invoice
Convert an approved quote into an invoice with the approved lines and deposits, start the order for production, or duplicate the quote.
Once a quote is approved, one click turns it into an invoice with exactly what the customer approved: the chosen option, the extras they picked, the tax rate and any deposits already paid. Owners, admins and staff can do it.
Convert to an invoice
Open the approved quote
In the menu, click Quotes and open it. Approved quotes show Convert to invoice as the main action.
Click Convert to invoice
SKUFlow creates a Draft invoice and opens it. The quote (and the request it came from) becomes Converted.
Check and send the invoice
Deposits paid on the quote are on the invoice already, so it shows the balance left. Send it when you're ready. See Send an invoice.
A quote can be invoiced once. The quote, the request and the invoice link to each other under Linked records.
Start the order
To send the work to production, click Make order on the approved quote (or later on its invoice). The order brings in the products, colors, sizes and designs, and moves forward on its own once the art is approved, the payment is in and the goods have arrived. See Orders & production.
Duplicate a quote
To quote the same order again, or change a quote the customer already answered, click Duplicate. SKUFlow makes a new Draft with the same lines and prices the product lines again from today's prices.
Archive or delete a quote
- Archive puts a quote away. The customer link stops working. Archiving can't be undone.
- Delete removes a quote for good. Owners and admins can delete quotes.
