Quotes & pricing

Handle a request

Log a quote request from a call, an email or a walk-in, and convert it to a quote when you're ready to price it.

A request is what someone asked for before you've priced it: "500 embroidered polos for our staff by March". Requests from your online request form land in Sales → Requests on their own; log the ones that come by phone, email or in person yourself, so nothing is forgotten.

Log a request

Open the form

In the menu, click Requests, then New request.

Say who's asking

Under Who's asking, choose Existing customer and pick them, or New contact and type their Name, Company, Phone and Email.

Describe what they need

Under What they need, write the Description: products, quantities, colors, decoration, artwork and the date they need it. Add the Ship-to address if you know it.

Add the date

Under When they need it, enter Needed by and, if they gave one, an Alternative date.

Create it

Add Internal notes for your team if you like (who called, artwork status, how urgent it sounded), then click Create request.

Convert a request to a quote

Open the request and click Convert to quote. SKUFlow:

  • makes the contact a customer if they're new (as a Lead), and saves a typed address as their first ship-to address;
  • creates a draft quote titled from the request, with an empty option for you to fill in;
  • moves the request to Quoted. When the quote is invoiced, the request becomes Converted.

Continue with Create a quote.

If a new contact's email or phone matches a customer you already have, the request shows This may be an existing customer. Click Use this customer to link it. SKUFlow never links them on its own, since anyone can type an email.

Archive or reopen a request

Click Archive on a request you won't quote (spam, a duplicate, a customer who went elsewhere). Archived requests can be brought back with Reopen.
