Quotes & pricing

Create a quote

Build a quote for a customer with products, decoration, pricebook items or typed-in lines, a valid-until date and a message.

A quote is your price for an order you haven't made yet. Build it in SKUFlow, send it, and the customer approves it online. Owners, admins and staff can create quotes.

Start a new quote

In the menu, click Quotes, then New quote. You can also click New quote on a customer's page, or Convert to quote on a request.

Fill in the customer and details

Under Customer & details, choose the Customer (or click New customer), the Ship-to address, a Title such as "2026 team tees" and the Valid until date. After that date the customer can no longer approve it.

Add the lines

Under Line items, add what you're selling:

  • Add product: a product in its colors and sizes, with a design. SKUFlow prices the blanks and the decoration. See Quote a decorated product.
  • Add from pricebook: a decoration, product or fee from your pricebook, at its price.
  • Add line: a typed-in line with a Description, Qty and Unit price.

Add options (optional)

One option reads as a plain quote. To let the customer choose, click Add option. See Offer good, better and best options.

Write your message

Under Message to the customer, write a short intro. It shows at the top of the quote.

Ask for a deposit (optional)

Under Deposit, choose Percentage or Fixed amount. See Ask for a deposit.

Create it

Add Internal notes for your team (margins, supplier quotes, reminders); customers never see them. Then click Create quote. The quote is saved as a Draft.

Tax on a quote

Tax follows the customer and ship-to address: none for a tax-exempt customer, otherwise the address's sales tax rules. The Summary shows the subtotal, tax, total and any deposit for each option.

Cost and margin

Owners and admins see Cost and margin for each option: your cost, the profit and the margin, with a warning when a line is Below cost or under your minimum margin. Staff and members don't see costs. Customers never do.

Edit a quote

Open the quote and click Edit. You can change lines and options while the quote is Draft, Awaiting approval, Changes requested or Expired. If it was already sent, the customer sees your changes the next time they open the link.

Once the customer has approved or declined, the quote is locked. Click Duplicate to make a new draft from it.
