Invoices & payments

Set up online payments

Connect your own Stripe account so customers can pay invoices and quote deposits online by card or bank, paid out to your bank.

Online payments let customers pay invoices and deposits by card or US bank account (ACH) on a secure Stripe page. Your business gets its own Stripe account and login, and the money is paid out to your bank. Card details never touch SKUFlow.

SKUFlow takes no fee on payments. Stripe charges its processing fee on each payment, and you see it under Fees on the Payments page.

Owners and admins can set up and change online payments. Staff can see the status.

Set it up

Setup takes about five minutes: your business details, a bank account for payouts, identity verification and your own Stripe login.

Open the payment settings

Open Settings → Payments.

Click Set up online payments

You go to Stripe's secure setup pages.

Fill in your details with Stripe

Enter your business details, your bank account and the identity check Stripe asks for, and create your Stripe login.

Come back to SKUFlow

When you finish, Stripe sends you back to Settings → Payments and the status updates. If you stopped part way, click Continue setup to carry on.

Check your status

The Stripe account card shows Not set up, Setup in progress, Needs attention or Active, with each check: Card payments, Payouts to your bank, Business details and Bank (ACH) payments. If Stripe needs more, Stripe still needs lists it with the deadline.

  • Refresh status asks Stripe for the latest.
  • Open Stripe dashboard opens your Stripe account, where you manage payouts, disputes and tax forms. Sign in with the Stripe login you created during setup.

Choose what customers see

Under Customer payments:

  • Show Pay online to customers: off hides every Pay online and Pay deposit button without disconnecting Stripe.
  • Let customers pay part of an invoice: on, customers can pay less than the balance (at least $1.00). Off, they pay the whole balance.
  • Ask for a tip: customers can add 10%, 15%, 20% or their own amount. Tips are reported apart from revenue.

Disconnect Stripe

Click Disconnect and confirm. Pay online buttons disappear and saved cards can no longer be used. Your Stripe account and its balance stay at Stripe.

Disputes are answered in your Stripe dashboard. SKUFlow flags a disputed payment and alerts whoever set up payments.
