Design your store's pages

Lay out a store's home page and an About page with banners, product grids, a countdown and more, then publish it.

Every store starts with a simple home page: the banner, your categories and your products, all from the store's Settings. To change it, open the store and click Design store.

Sections

A page is a list of sections. Use Add a section to add one, the arrows to move it, the eye to hide it from shoppers and the bin to remove it. Click a section's name to change it.

SectionWhat it shows
BannerThe banner picture with your main colour over it, the title, a few words and a button. Leave its fields empty to use Settings → Branding.
ProductsAll products, one category's, or the products you pick, in the order you pick them.
Category tilesThe store's categories as pictures.
Featured productOne product, large, with a few words and a button.
Order deadline countdownThe days left to order. Hidden when the store has no deadline or has closed.
How ordering worksSteps for shoppers, and each person's allowance in allowance stores.
ContactThe store's contact email and phone.
Text, Picture and text, Gallery, Testimonials, QuestionsThe same blocks as your website.

Buttons

The Banner and Featured product buttons go to a page of your store, picked from a list under Button goes to: the shop, a category, a product (type to find it), the About page, the returns, guarantee or privacy page, the cart, or another section of the same page. Button text is what the button says; leave it empty for "Shop all products" (banner) or "View product" (featured product).

If what a button goes to is removed later (a product or category taken out of the store, a hidden section), the button goes to the shop. Publishing asks you to pick again when a button names a product or category that is no longer in the store.

About page

Click Add About page for a second page in the store's menu. Give it a name, such as "About" or "Info", and add sections to it.

Preview and publish

Your changes save as a draft on their own, and the preview beside the sections shows the draft on a desktop or a phone. Shoppers don't see anything until you click Publish design. Discard changes goes back to what shoppers see; Start over from the default layout rebuilds the simple home page from the store's settings.
