Customer products and prices

Link the decorated products you make for a customer to them, with a customer price and a store price that every store you run for them follows, fixed or following your supplier's cost.

A customer's products are the decorated products you make for them: a product from your catalog and its design. Each one has two prices per piece:

  • Customer price: what the customer pays when they order from you directly. New quote lines and orders for that customer and that product (with that design) start at this price, and you can still change it on the line.
  • Store price: what shoppers pay in the stores you run for that customer. Every store for the customer follows it, unless you give the product its own price in one store.

Each price can be:

  • Fixed price: the same price per piece until you change it.
  • Cost + %: your supplier's current cost for that color and size, plus your markup, plus a decoration price. When your supplier's cost changes (SKUFlow checks connected suppliers every few hours), the price follows.
  • Catalog price + % or Catalog price: the product's price in your catalog (from your pricing rules), with an optional markup, plus a decoration price.

Size upcharges (for example 2XL +$2.00) add on to both prices, whatever kind they are. Prices that aren't fixed can be rounded up to .99.

Owners, admins and staff can add customer products and change their prices. Everyone on the team can see them.

See a customer's products

Open the customer and go to Products. Each row shows the picture (the design's mockup when it has one), the product and design, the customer price and the store price (for example Cost + 80%, with what it comes to today), the size upcharges, and the stores selling it. A store tag in color follows the store price; a grey one has its own price in that store.

Add a product for a customer

  1. On the customer's Products, click Add product.
  2. Search your catalog and pick the product.
  3. Pick the Design from the customer's library or your own designs, or click New design.
  4. For the Customer price and the Store price, choose Fixed price and type the price, or Cost + % and type the markup and the decoration price. Leave a price on its first choice to use your normal pricing.
  5. Type any Size upcharges (for example 2XL 2.00, 3XL 3.00) and click Save.

Products you add to a store for a customer from the catalog also become that customer's products.

Change prices in one place

Click Edit prices on the product's row, change the prices and click Save. The dialog shows each size's prices today; owners and admins also see the cost they're based on.

A new store price shows in every store that follows it straight away, open stores and carts included. Saved quotes and orders keep their prices.

Raise or lower all of a customer's prices

Click Adjust prices (the % button), type the change (for example 5 for 5% more), choose the customer prices, the store prices or both, and click Adjust. Fixed prices move by that percentage. Cost + % and catalog prices get their markup raised so the price before decoration moves by the same percentage, and they keep following costs.

Quotes and orders

A new quote line for the customer's product starts at the customer price. A Cost + % price is worked out from the cost on the day you add the line; the quote then keeps that price, even if the cost changes later.

Make a store for a customer

When you create a store for a customer, the Products step starts with that customer's products, all chosen, each at its store price. You can untick some and add more from the catalog.

Give one store its own price

In the store, click Edit on the product. Under Pricing, choose Customer's store price to follow the customer's price, or any other pricing to give this store its own price. See Add and price products.

Archive a product

Click Archive on the row. Archived products are hidden from the customer's list, new stores and new quotes. Stores already selling one keep their prices. Turn on Archived to see them and restore one.

Stores you made before customer products existed are linked to their customer's products automatically, without changing any price shoppers see. A product priced at your catalog price plus a markup keeps that markup, so it still follows your supplier's prices.
