Import a store from DecoNetwork

Copy a DecoNetwork company or team store into SKUFlow as a draft store for a customer, with its categories, products, designs and prices.

If you run company or team stores on DecoNetwork, SKUFlow can copy one into a new store for the customer it belongs to. It reads the store's pages (the products, their categories, colors, sizes, prices, decorations and pictures) and, when you connect your DecoNetwork site, its orders and blank products for the production files and costs. Nothing changes in DecoNetwork.

What you get, for each DecoNetwork product:

  • the blank in your catalog: the product you already have with the same style number, else the style imported from your connected supplier (SanMar, S&S and others), else a new catalog product made from DecoNetwork's details (add its cost later);
  • the artwork in the customer's library: DecoNetwork's production file when its orders have one (PNG, JPG, SVG or PDF), else the store picture as a placeholder you replace later. Embroidery stitch files stay in DecoNetwork;
  • a design with a placement for each decorated area (left chest, full front…), its decoration method and stitch count;
  • a customer product with DecoNetwork's price as a fixed store price, and size upcharges where bigger sizes cost more. See Customer products and prices;
  • the product in the store, in its DecoNetwork category, with DecoNetwork's pictures for each color.

The store is a draft: shoppers can't see it until you open it.

Connect DecoNetwork (optional)

You can import any DecoNetwork store that visitors can open without connecting. Connecting adds your site's list of stores, production files and blank costs.

In DecoNetwork, make a staff account for SKUFlow (a separate login is easiest to remove later). Your site needs DecoNetwork's API apps (an Enterprise feature).

In SKUFlow, go to Online stores and click Import from DecoNetwork.

Under DecoNetwork connection, type your site's address (for example www.yourshop.com), the staff username and its password, and click Connect. SKUFlow checks the login with DecoNetwork before saving it. The password is stored encrypted and never shown again.

Preview the store

Click Show my DecoNetwork stores and Use this store, or type the store's address (for example team.yourshop.com).

Pick the customer the store is for, or type the name of a new customer to make.

Optionally give the store a new name and each person's allowance. Shoppers pay anything over their allowance by card is on: see Choose how shoppers pay.

Click Preview. Reading a large store takes a minute.

The preview lists every product with its price (from the smallest size to the largest), where its blank comes from (In your catalog, From supplier or Will be created), its decoration and artwork, and anything to check. Nothing is made yet.

Import it

Click Import this store. The import runs in the background; the page shows its progress. When it's done you get links to the store and the customer's products, and a list of what to do before opening:

  • set each person's allowance and connect online payments for the card part;
  • choose who can shop and the delivery options;
  • replace placeholder artwork with the production files;
  • add costs to catalog products made from DecoNetwork's details.

DecoNetwork coupons don't carry over: SKUFlow gives each person an allowance instead. The preview lists the coupon codes your shoppers used.

Import again or undo

  • Import again (update) brings DecoNetwork's current prices, categories and new products into the same store. What you already made isn't duplicated; designs you edited are kept.
  • Undo the import deletes the store and what the import made that nothing else uses. A store that took orders can't be undone: close it instead.

The store's prices follow the customer's products. Changing a store price on the customer's Products changes it in every store you run for them.
