Purchasing & inventory

Purchasing & inventory

Order blanks from your vendors and keep track of stock.

Buy what your orders need and keep count of what's on your shelves. Purchase orders go to your vendors, both the suppliers you buy blanks from and the decorators you send work to. When the goods arrive, receiving them moves your orders on and updates your stock.

Inventory keeps stock by location (a warehouse, the shop floor, a storage room), with a full history of every movement, low-stock alerts and reorder suggestions.

Who can do what

  • Owners and admins create, send and receive purchase orders and manage vendors. Purchase orders show what you pay, so staff don't see them.
  • Staff run stock: transfers, adjustments, counts and reorder points.
  • Members can see stock levels.

What inventory tracks

Inventory counts the items in your pricebook whose kind is Product: blanks you keep on hand, ink, thread, transfer film, packaging. Decoration and fee items aren't stocked.

Blanks you buy for a specific order from a supplier catalog don't go into stock: they're received straight onto the order. See Buy blanks for an order.
