Set up stock locations
Add the warehouses, storage rooms and shop floors where you keep stock, and choose your default location.
A location is any place you keep stock: the main warehouse, the shop floor, a back room. Each location keeps its own counts, so you know what's where.
Owners, admins and staff can manage locations.
Open Inventory
In the left menu, click Inventory. The Locations view lists your locations with their item counts and how many are low.
Add a location
Click New location. Enter the Name (for example "Main warehouse") and its Address.

Choose the default
Turn on Default warehouse for the location stock goes to when no other is chosen. Your first location is the default.
Save
Click Create location.
See what's in stock
- Open a location to see its Stock levels: each item, what's on hand, its reorder point and status (OK, Low, Out or Negative).
- All stock shows every item at every location. Filter by Location or search.
- The cards at the top show your number of locations, low and negative stock, and the Stock value at cost (owners and admins only).

Retire a location
Edit the location and turn off Active. Retired locations are hidden but their history is kept. A location with history can be retired, not deleted.
