Move and count stock

Transfer stock between locations, add or remove stock with a reason, count a location and read the ledger.

Every change in stock is recorded: what moved, how many, the balance after and who did it. Use transfers to move stock, adjustments to fix a count, and stock counts to set a location to what's really on the shelf.

Owners, admins and staff can move and count stock.

Transfer stock

Move blanks from the warehouse to the production floor, for example.

Start a transfer

On Inventory, click Transfer stock.

Choose the locations

Pick From and To.

Add items

Search for each item and enter its Quantity. Click Add item for more. Add a Note if it helps.

Transfer

Click Transfer.

Adjust stock

Use an adjustment for damaged, found or miscounted items.

  1. Open the location and click Adjust (or the adjust button on an item's row).
  2. Pick the Item, choose Add or Remove and enter the Quantity.
  3. Enter a Reason (it's required) and click Adjust.

Count a location

  1. Open the location and click Count.
  2. Enter what you counted for each item. Only the rows you fill in change.
  3. Click Save count. Each difference is recorded as an adjustment.

Stock below zero

SKUFlow never blocks a job because stock says zero: the count may be wrong. If more is used than was on hand, the item shows Negative and appears under Low stock so you can recount or reorder.

The ledger

Click Ledger on Inventory to see every movement: Received, Transfer out, Transfer in, Used, Returned and Adjustment, with the quantity, the balance after and what it was for. Filter by movement kind or location. Movements are never edited or deleted.
