Move an order through production
Start production, finish it, ship or hand over the order and complete it. Put an order on hold or cancel it.
Once an order is Ready for production, your team moves it along. The main button at the top of the order always shows the next step.
Owners, admins and staff can move orders.

The stages
| Status | Next button | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Ready for production | Start production | The order goes In production. |
| In production | Finish production | The order is Ready to ship. |
| Ready to ship | Mark shipped (or Mark handed over) | The order is Shipped. |
| Shipped | Complete | The order is Completed. |
The order also moves on its own:
- Starting the first job on the production board starts production.
- Finishing the last job makes the order Ready to ship.
- When the carrier picks up a package you bought a label for, the order is Shipped. When every package is delivered, it's Completed. See Track a package.
Mark handed over shows instead of Mark shipped when the order's Delivery (in Details) is Pickup or We deliver.
Change the order's details
The Details panel holds the In-hands date, Rush, what must be paid Before production, the Delivery method, Production notes for your team and a Note for the customer (shown in their portal). Change them and click Save.
The Production sheet shows the order's units by color and size, ready to pull blanks or print for the floor.
Put an order on hold
Open the More menu and choose Put on hold. The order stops where it is. Click Resume to carry on from the same place. An order that was still waiting on its checks reads them again.
Cancel an order
Open the More menu and choose Cancel order, then confirm. Jobs that haven't started are removed.
Purchase orders already made for the order stay as they are. Cancel them with the vendor and in Purchase orders.
Find orders
Orders lists every order. Use Show to switch between Open, Late (past the in-hands date) and All, filter by Status, or search by order number, title or customer. Rush orders are marked Rush.
