Edit your message templates
Change the wording of the emails and texts your automations and your team send, with merge fields and A/B variants.
Templates are the emails and texts SKUFlow sends. Turning on a ready-made automation adds its templates; the Send buttons use templates too. Owners and admins can edit them.
Edit a template
Go to Engage → Templates and open the template.
Change the Subject (emails) and the Message. Use Insert a merge field to add details such as the customer's first name or the invoice total.
Check the Preview on the right: pick a Sample customer to see it with their details filled in.
Click Save template. Automations that use it send the new version from now on.

Templates made by a ready-made automation are marked System: you can edit them freely, but not delete them.
Merge fields
Merge fields are written like {{customer.firstName}}. Add a fallback with a bar for when the value is missing: {{customer.firstName|there}} reads "Hi there" when there's no first name.
Links such as the quote link, the pay link and the portal link are real links made for that customer when the message goes out. If a message needs a link that can't be made (for example the review link isn't set), it's skipped with the reason rather than sent with a gap.
Texts
For a text, the editor counts characters. Long texts are split into several segments, and each segment counts toward your plan's texts.
A/B variants
On the A/B variants tab, click Add a variant to try a different subject or wording. Each customer always gets the same variant; the Weight sets the split. A weight of 0 pauses a variant.
Design the email
For an email template, click Design email to give it its own look with images, buttons and columns. See Design an email.
