Large format products
Sell banners, signs and decals priced by the square foot, with materials, finishing and a minimum charge.
Large-format products are priced by size instead of by color and size: the customer orders a width and height, in a material, with finishing such as hems or grommets.
Set up a large-format product
Add the product
Add a product and set its Kind to Large format.
Set the sizes and minimum
Under Sizes and minimum, enter Min width (in), Max width (in), Min height (in) and Max height (in): the sizes a customer may order. Set a Minimum charge: the least one piece costs, however small.
Add materials
Under Materials, click Add material for each one you print on, such as "13 oz vinyl banner". Enter its Cost / sq ft. Leave Price / sq ft empty to follow your pricing rule from the cost, or type your own.
Add finishing
Under Finishing, click Add finishing for each option, with its Name, Price and Cost. Choose how it's Priced:
- Per piece: a flat price, such as a pole pocket.
- Per foot of edge: hems, priced along the Edges you choose.
- Per grommet: a grommet Every (in) along the chosen edges.
Try the calculator
The Price calculator shows what a piece costs your customer at a Width (in), Height (in), Quantity, material and finishing, with the area in square feet and whether the minimum charge applied.

How the price is worked out
Square feet = width × height ÷ 144. The piece price is the material's price per square foot times the area, plus finishing, plus your large-format print method's rate from Settings → Decoration. If that comes to less than the minimum charge, the minimum applies.
