Large format designs
Design banners, signs and other large-format prints with their size, image fit, bleed, safe area and grommets.
A design of a large-format product (a banner, a sign, a decal) works a little differently: instead of print locations on a garment, you design one printed piece at the size the customer orders.
First add the product with its materials and finishing. See Large format products.
Create the design
Start a new design and pick the large-format product. The editor shows the piece at its shape, under Large format.
Set the size
Type the Width (in) and Height (in). The product's smallest and largest sizes apply.
Add the image
Add the artwork to the Printed face, then choose the Image fit:
- Fit: the whole image shows, with background around it if the shapes differ.
- Fill: the image covers the piece; edges may be cut off.
- Stretch: the image is stretched to the piece's shape.
Pick a Background color for any space the image doesn't cover.
Set bleed, safe area and grommets
- Bleed (in) and Safe area (in) show as guides on the piece: keep text inside the safe area.
- Grommets every (in) and Grommet edges (All edges, Top and bottom, Left and right or Top only) show where the grommets go, with their count.
- Turn on Double-sided if both faces print.
Save and render
Click Save, then render the mockup to see the finished piece.
