Artwork & proofs

Send a proof

Send your customer a proof of their artwork with mockups, and get it approved before production.

A proof shows the customer exactly what you'll make: mockups of the design on the product, and each print location with its method, size, ink colors or stitches and artwork. They approve it before you print.

You don't need to make proofs by hand. Sending a quote sends a proof for every design on it that hasn't been proofed yet, has changed since its last proof, or had changes asked for. Owners, admins and staff can send proofs.

Send proofs with the quote

Put a design on the quote

Add a decorated product to the quote and pick its Design. See Designs & mockups.

Send the quote

Open the quote and click Send quote (or Mark as sent if you send the link yourself). SKUFlow renders fresh mockups if the design changed, and makes the proofs.

Check the proofs

The quote page shows Artwork proofs: each design's current proof, with its version, mockups and status (Waiting, Approved, Changes requested or Replaced).

Sending a quote by email or text reaches the customer right away, with the proofs on the quote page.

Send a new proof by hand

Use this when you've fixed something after the quote went out, or want to send a new version with a note.

Update the design

Make your change in the design editor and click Save. The quote shows Out of date: send a new proof on mockups that no longer match.

Send the new version

On the quote, under Artwork proofs, click Send new proof (or Send proof if the design has none yet).

Add a note

Optionally, write a Note to the customer, such as "Logo moved up 1 inch", then click Send proof.

The customer sees the new version on their quote page right away, with the current mockups. Earlier open versions are marked Replaced, and stay listed under the earlier versions.

Proofs are for the customer's approval only. They aren't printed on the quote PDF; the quote's printout shows the mockups.
