Check artwork for printing
See whether a file will print sharp with a decoration method at the size you plan to print it.
A logo that looks fine on screen can print blurry on a full-back screen print. The print check tells you, before you quote, whether a file holds up with a method at a size.
Open the artwork
Go to Artwork and open the file.
Fill in the check
Under Check for printing, choose:
- Version: the file version to check (the current one is picked for you).
- Method: the decoration method, or Any method.
- Print width (in) and Print height (in): how big it will print.
- Ink colours: for screen print and other methods priced by color, how many inks you plan to use.
Run it
Click Check. SKUFlow shows the resolution at that size and lists anything that may go wrong. No problems found for this method and size. means you're good to go.

What the check looks for
| Warning | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Low resolution at this size | Under 300 dpi at the print size may look soft; under 150 dpi is flagged as a problem. |
| Raster art for screen print or embroidery | Screens and digitizing work best from vector art. Ask for an SVG or PDF, or charge an art fee. |
| No transparent background for DTF | A solid background prints as a box around the design. |
| More colors than you priced | The art uses more colors than the ink colors on the quote. |
| PDF contents not checked | SKUFlow can't look inside a PDF; check it yourself. |
Vector files print sharp at any size, so they never get a resolution warning.
The same checks run on every piece of art you place in the design editor, at the size it's placed. A placement whose art passes shows Ready to print at this size.
