Read the totals
- Outstanding: everything owed on sent and overdue invoices, with the number of open invoices.
- Current: the part that's not yet due.
- Past due: the part past its due date, and its share of the balance.
- 90+ days: what's more than 90 days late, the hardest to collect.
Read the age buckets
Balance by age sorts the balance into Current, 1–30 days, 31–60 days, 61–90 days and 90+ days past the due date. An invoice with no due date counts from its issue date.
Open a customer
Under By customer, customers who owe the most come first. Click a customer to see their open invoices with Issued, Due, Days past due and Balance, then open an invoice to follow up.
This report is a picture of balances as they are today ("Balances as of …"). It doesn't rebuild what was owed on a past date, so it has no date range.
You can filter by Customer type, and by Business unit if you use units.
