Imports

What gets imported

What the import brings in, how money, dates and numbers are handled, and what isn't copied.

What comes across

  • Customers, with their contacts, billing address, tags, lead source, notes, tax-exempt status and custom fields.
  • Contacts with their roles.
  • Addresses: customers' addresses and ship-to locations.
  • Pricebook items and categories.
  • Quotes with their options and lines (ServiceTitan estimates of one job become good, better and best options).
  • Invoices with their lines.
  • Payments on those invoices.
  • Notes on customers.

Money and balances

  • Tax is kept as it was charged; nothing is recalculated.
  • An invoice's balance is its total less imported payments. Where your export has only a balance, SKUFlow adds an Opening balance (imported) payment or invoice so balances match your old system.
  • Payments on account, deposits without an invoice and refunds aren't imported: the balances cover them.

Dates and numbers

  • Records keep their original dates, so reports and AR aging show history when it happened, not on import day.
  • Quotes and invoices keep their old numbers (#1043 becomes INV-1043). If a number is already taken, SKUFlow gives a new one and warns you.

Past work is read-only

Paid and cancelled invoices that you import can't be edited, deleted or refunded in SKUFlow. Undo still removes them.

What isn't copied

  • Saved cards. Send update-card links at cutover.
  • Text consent. SKUFlow asks customers for consent itself.
  • Your team. Invite them at cutover.
  • Products from your supplier catalogs, artwork, designs, orders and production jobs. Connect suppliers in Products & catalog and start new work in SKUFlow.
  • Attachments and photos.
