SKUFlow AI

Use SKUFlow from ChatGPT or Claude

Connect the AI assistant you already use to SKUFlow and run your shop from a chat, with your permissions and approvals.

If you already chat with ChatGPT or Claude, you can connect it to SKUFlow and work from there: "Give me a rundown on Riverside Little League's account", "Draft a quote for 150 navy tees with a 2-color front print", "Invoice the approved Riverside quote and send it". The assistant works in SKUFlow as you, with the same permissions as in the app.

What you can do

  • Ask about your business: a customer's history, open quotes, unpaid invoices, this month's revenue, money owed.
  • Get work done: add customers, draft and send quotes, invoice an approved quote, record a payment.
  • Work on SKUFlow screens in the chat. In ChatGPT and Claude, the main answers can appear as small SKUFlow screens: a customer's 360 view, a quote with its options, an invoice, and revenue or money-owed charts. Edit a quote line, send an invoice or record a payment right there.
  • Jump into SKUFlow: answers link to the customer, quote or invoice in SKUFlow.

Connect it

Setting up takes a few minutes. Someone with the owner or admin role makes an API key (or you sign in with SKUFlow, where it's switched on) in Settings → Developers, then you add SKUFlow to your assistant. Step-by-step instructions for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others are in Connect an AI assistant.

ChatGPT connects only by signing in with SKUFlow. Settings → Developers shows whether sign-in is switched on for your account; until it is, use Claude, Cursor or another assistant with an API key.

You stay in charge

  • The assistant can only do what your role allows, limited further by the access you gave the connection (for example, read only).
  • Anything that moves money, deletes, messages customers or changes who has access waits for your OK. Some assistants ask you in the chat; for the most important actions SKUFlow asks you itself, and you approve on the AI assistant approvals page. See Approve what an AI assistant does.
  • Everything the assistant changes is in Settings → Activity log.
  • Disconnect it any time under Apps you connected in Settings → Developers, or revoke its API key.
