Apply referral rewards
Put a referral credit or discount on a customer's draft invoice, mark a gift card sent, or void a reward.
The new customer's reward is issued when their referral comes in; the referrer's when the new customer converts. Rewards wait in Engage → Referrals → Rewards until you use them.
Put a credit or discount on an invoice
In Rewards, find the reward and click Apply to invoice.
Choose one of the customer's Draft invoices. It needs a draft invoice without payments; click New invoice to make one.
Click Apply reward. It goes on the invoice as a credit line, never more than the invoice's total.
If that invoice is deleted, the reward can be used again.
Gift cards
Send the gift card yourself, then click Mark gift card sent.
Void a reward
Click Void to cancel a reward that shouldn't be used.
When a referrer reaches the cap, their referrals still count but earn no reward ("No reward: the referrer reached the cap").
