Choose who gets a campaign
Build a campaign audience with filters, save it as a segment, or pick customers by hand, and see how many you can reach.
Under Audience in the campaign editor, choose Who gets it:
- Build an audience: filters (below).
- Saved segment: an audience you saved before.
- Pick customers: click Add a customer for each one.
Filters
Every filter you set must match. With none, everyone who may get marketing is included.
| Group | Filters |
|---|---|
| Who and where | Customer type, Has any of these tags, Leave out these tags, ZIP codes, Cities, Lead source |
| Order history and value | Lifetime value from ($) and Lifetime value up to ($) |
| Behaviours and predictions | Behaviours (all of them), such as pays on time or seasonal, and At risk of leaving |
Behaviors and predictions come from Customer 360.
How many you reach
The Live count shows how many customers match, how many Can be emailed and Can be texted, why the others can't (for example, no marketing consent or a STOP reply), and a sample.

Save a segment
Click Save as segment, give it a Name and click Save segment. A segment keeps the filters, not a list of customers: it's applied when a campaign starts, so it stays current.
Manage segments on Engage → Campaigns → Saved segments: New segment, Edit or Delete.
Who gets it, exactly
The audience is fixed when the campaign starts sending. Customers added later don't get it.
