Export from DecoNetwork
Which exports to pull from DecoNetwork (customers, order items and payments) and what SKUFlow does with each.
SKUFlow reads DecoNetwork's own exports as they are: its formats were checked against real DecoNetwork files, so every column is known. The same steps show in SKUFlow when you choose DecoNetwork as the source.
DecoNetwork's menus can change. If a column isn't recognized (your own checkout questions, for example), SKUFlow's AI maps it and you check it before importing.
Customers
- In DecoNetwork's Business Hub, open Customers.
- Select all customers and export the list to CSV.
- Upload the file as it is.
- One person with several store logins (the same email) becomes one customer, with a
store:tag for every storefront they bought from, the latest details and the balances added up. - Each storefront's own account (no name, the company is the store's login) isn't a customer: it's skipped and listed in the preview.
- A separate shipping address becomes the customer's ship-to address. When use separate shipping is off, the billing address is used.
- Outstanding becomes the customer's opening balance.
- Newsletter and text opt-ins aren't imported: SKUFlow records consent only with proof of where it came from, so it asks customers itself.
Orders (as invoices)
- In DecoNetwork Admin, open Reports → Export Orders.
- Choose the order items export (one row per size of each product line), set the date range to all time and export to CSV.
- Upload it as it is.
Each order becomes one invoice, numbered after the order (order 1043 is INV-1043), dated when it was ordered and due on its due date. Each size is a line (product, colour and size), per-size discounts become a discount line, and shipping, discounts and coupons keep their own lines. Tax is kept as it was charged. DecoNetwork's Order Total leaves out gift certificates, so SKUFlow only compares it and warns you in the preview if an order doesn't add up.
Open orders are imported as invoices too, for now.
Payments
- In DecoNetwork Admin, open Reports → Export Payments.
- Set the date range to all time and export to CSV.
- Upload it with the orders export.
Each payment is matched to its order by the order number. Card payments keep their last four digits, and gift certificates are kept as Other payments with their name. Rejected payments and refunds aren't imported: the preview lists them.
