Retire or delete a business unit
Stop using a business unit and keep its history, or delete one that was never used.
All plansunits are added on Pro
Retire a unit
Retire a unit you no longer use. Its requests, quotes, invoices and reports stay as they are, it shows as (retired) in filters, and it can't be chosen for new work.
- In Settings → Business units, open the unit's Actions menu.
- Click Retire.
To use it again, click Reactivate.
Delete a unit
You can delete a unit only if nothing was ever recorded against it. Open its Actions menu, click Delete, then Delete unit. A unit with requests, quotes, invoices or other records can only be retired.
Deleting a unit can't be undone.
