Send a portal link
Create, send, copy, regenerate or revoke a customer's private portal link, which opens their portal without signing in.
A private portal link is made for one customer and opens their portal straight away, with no code. It's handy for customers who'd rather click a link than sign in.
Owners, admins and staff can manage portal links.
Send the link
Open the customer
Click Customers and open the customer.
Send it
Click More, then Send portal link. Choose how to send it, check the message and click Send.
SKUFlow checks the customer's messaging preferences first. If they don't allow the message, it isn't sent.
Manage the link
The Customer portal card on the customer's page manages their link:
- Create portal link makes one if they don't have one yet. Creating a link doesn't send it.
- Copy portal link copies it so you can paste it into your own message.
- Open portal shows you what the customer sees.
- Regenerate makes a new link. The old one stops working.
- Revoke turns the link off.
The card also shows when the link was created, when it expires (or Doesn't expire) and when the customer last opened it.

If a customer opens a link you replaced or revoked, they see Sign in to see this with a button to sign in, as long as customer sign-in is on.
