What customers see

How your customers design a product on your online designer, see the price and send it to you.

This is what happens on your designer page, so you can help a customer who calls with a question. Customers don't need an account.

Pick a product and color

The page lists the products you offer, each with its colors. The customer clicks Design this (or Design it in a color) to start. Choose another product goes back to the list.

Add text, clipart and art

Depending on your settings, the customer can:

  • Add text: one line, with a Font (Sans, Sans bold, Serif, Serif bold or Typewriter) and an Ink colour.
  • Add clipart: a built-in single-color shape in any ink color, or one of your own graphics.
  • Upload your art: a PNG, JPEG or SVG up to 10 MB, up to six per design. (PDFs can't be used here.)

They drag each layer on the product, resize it, Rotate it or Remove it, and switch Views to decorate the front, back or side. Each print location shows its decoration: the method, the number of colors and about how big it prints.

Choose sizes and see the price

Under Sizes and quantities, the customer types how many of each size. The Price shows an Estimated total and about how much a piece costs, from your own product prices and decoration price tables. The page tells them it's an estimate that you confirm with a quote and a proof.

The price is always worked out by SKUFlow from your settings, never by the customer's browser, and your costs are never shown.

Save and come back

The design saves itself as they work. The page's link brings the design back, so they can finish later or send it to someone else. Designs that are never sent are deleted after 30 days without changes.

Send it

The customer clicks through to Send it to the shop, fills in Your name, an Email or Phone, and optionally a company or team, a needed-by date and notes, then clicks Send my design. No payment is taken. They see Design sent with a reference number, and you get a request.
