Set up the online designer
Choose the products and decoration methods customers can design with, what they can add, and switch the page on.
Set up the designer once: which products customers can design, which decoration methods they can choose, and what they can add. Owners and admins can change these settings.
Before you start
- Add the products you want to offer to your catalog, with pictures per color and decoration areas. See Products & catalog. Garments and promotional products work; large-format products aren't offered in the designer.
- Set up your decoration methods and price tables in Settings → Decoration. The designer prices with them.
Open the settings
Go to Settings → Online designer.

Choose the products
Under Products and decoration, tick the products customers can design.
Choose the decoration methods
Under Decoration methods, tick the methods customers can choose. Each print location starts with the first one that suits it, so put your usual method first.
Choose what customers can add
Under What customers can add, turn on any of:
- Text
- Clipart
- Their own pictures (PNG, JPEG or SVG)
Write the page and set a minimum
Add a Headline (for example "Design your own") and an Introduction. Set Least pieces per design if you have an order minimum. Click Save.
Switch it on
Turn on the switch at the top. It reads On: customers can design at the link below. You need at least one product and one method first.
Once it's on, anyone with the link can design and send you requests. Turn the switch off to close the page at any time.
