Use your own domain

Connect a domain you own, like www.yourshop.com, to your SKUFlow website.

Your website always has a free SKUFlow address. You can also show it at a domain you own. Security certificates are issued automatically.

Add the domain

Go to Engage → Website, click Settings and domains, and under Your own domain type the domain (for example www.yourshop.com). Click Connect domain.

Add the DNS records

SKUFlow shows two records. Add both where your domain is managed (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare…). Use Copy to copy each name and value.

  • The TXT record proves the domain is yours.
  • The CNAME record sends visitors to your SKUFlow site. If a record for that name already exists from an old site, replace it.

Check

Click Check now. DNS changes can take up to a few hours. SKUFlow also keeps checking by itself, and the status changes from Waiting for DNS to Connected.

www.yourshop.com is the easiest to connect. A bare domain (yourshop.com) can't use a CNAME, so SKUFlow shows A records instead, or you can use your DNS provider's ALIAS, ANAME or CNAME flattening.

If your domain is connected but the site isn't published yet, visitors see a "not published yet" page until you publish.

Several domains

You can connect up to five. Click Make main on the one you want as your main address. Disconnect stops a domain showing your website at once.
